Polliwog Creative Arts Camp

All sessions will be held in the Little Y'ers Preschool.
Located at Newton Community Service Center, the Polliwog Creative Arts Camp is an alternative camp experience for children ages 3 to 6 1/2 years of age. Similar to our Camp Polliwog program, the Polliwog Creative Arts Camp enables children to participate in many active and quiet activities with an emphasis on the expressive and performing arts.
Children who participate in the Polliwog Creative Arts Camp are able to explore creative awareness through music, drama and visual art with a focus on awareness of different cultures.
The Polliwog staff believe that all young children benefit from a "process not product" approach to the creative arts. Children are encouraged to participate in new and familiar media to feel confident as an artist!
Our counselors are loving child care professionals who are delighted to engage in the camp experience with young children. We maintain a ratio of one staff person to every five children in our camp programs.
