You must be a minimum of 15 years of age by June 15, 2010 in order to be eligible for employment. All staff are required to commit to the entire summer, with the exception of Junior Counselors. Junior Counselors may work Sessions 1 & 2 or Sessions 3 & 4 or the entire summer. You must clearly state your availability on the first page of the application and keep me posted on any changes after your application has been submitted. All applicants must also check their e-mail regularly, as that will be my primary means of communication regarding interviews, job offers, training, etc.

New Leadership Postions

A note for returning staff: There is no longer a seasonal "Head Counselor" or "Assistant Camp Director" position at Camp Chickami. These positions have been replaced with "Chickami Program Directors", who will be full-time YMCA staff from the Youth & Family Department. This coming summer, the Chickami Program Directors will be Zan LaMothe and Leah Castellano. They will be interviewing prospective staff and have a say in the hiring process as part of their new roles. Welcome, Zan and Leah!

Peace, Love & Chowder,

Kate Connolly
