Blue Waves Timing System Campaign
Help Support the Blue Waves Program!
We are very proud to be the three time Metro-West Champions with an undefeated dual meet season! We wear this title with great pride and would like to be able to host well organized, high quality swim meets at the West Suburban YMCA. As we look towards changes for next season, we strongly believe that purchasing a timing and scoring system would add a significant resource to our swim meets and play an important role in the success of our swimmers and in the smooth operation of the meet. The estimated cost of this purchase is $25,000.
The YMCA has started a fundraising effort to raise this money needed to purchase a quality scoring system which includes a scoreboard and a six-lane touchpad system in conjunction with the timing system and software. This effort is part of the West Suburban YMCA’s Legacy Campaign for Youth & Families.
