Blue Waves
Welcome!
We are The West Suburban YMCA Blue Waves Swim Team! Founded in 2002, by coaches Katie (Behrens) Kotch and Lindsay Stephenson, we are part of the Eastern Massachusetts YMCA Swim League. This past 2007-2008 season, we had 50 Eastern MA YMCA District qualifiers.
A special congratulations to our Class C, 11 and 12 year old girls age group for an undefeated season!
Several of our swimmers will be competing in the YMCA New England Championships at Harvard University in March

2008 Summer Session
Blue Waves Summer Sessions at Camp Chikami in Wayland (ages 6-17)
Join us for our first Blue Waves Summer Session! It will be a nice change of pace as we begin a new season and make the transition outdoors. All participants MUST be a FISH level or higher in order to participate.
Practices will be Mondays-Thursdays from 4:15-5:30pm at Camp Chickami's outdoor pool in Wayland. For inclement weather, practices will move indoors for a dry-land workout. Please be sure to bring appropriate clothing.
Space is limited due to the maximum occupancy and size of Camp Chickami's pool.

Summer Swim Meets at Camp Chickami in Wayland
The West Suburban YMCA will be hosting two swim meets this summer! Please be sure to fill out a registration form stating the events that you would like to swim when signing up. Swimmers may swim up to three events.
Space is limited due to the maximum occupancy and size of Camp Chickami's pool.
