Spring into a Whole New Life with the

West Suburban YMCA

 

The West Suburban YMCA will host Take It Off, Keep It Off, a new unique and holistic program designed to educate, cultivate, and support life long personal health changes and improvements. Beginning Monday, May 5, 2008, this program will be led by Jennifer Sandeman, the Y's Health Promotion Specialist.

Program participants will take part in weekly nutrition education groups held in the West Suburban YMCA Wellness Center as well as receive discounts on individual and family nutrition consultations and personal training sessions. Monthly Tanita scale weigh-ins will also be provided.

Through the use of recipes, sample menus, and guest lecturers, this program will explore new and healthy methods of cooking and shopping for food. Free blood sugar level screenings will also be provided for participants.

Enrollment begins Friday, April 18, 2008 and is on-going throughout the month of May. The program is $39.95 per month or $13 as a drop-in fee per class. For more information or to register, please contact Jennifer Sandeman at 617-244-6050, ext. 3017 or email jennifers@westsuburbanymca.org.
