Camps Open House at the WSYMCA

West Suburban YMCA hosts Camp Open House offering day and residential camp options

NEWTON, MA – The West Suburban YMCA will be hosting a Camp Open House on Thursday, January 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Y’s Wellness Center at 276 Church Street, Newton Corner, MA. This event is free and open to the public.

The Camp Open House offers a forum for both returning and prospective campers to meet the YMCA camp staff and gather information about the Y’s several summer options available for children ages 2 to 15 years old.

The Y’s summer options include the following:

Camp Frank A. Day, the Y’s ACA accredited overnight camp located in East Brookfield, MA is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 15 years old and offers a summer of outdoor adventure.

Camp Chickami, the Y’s fun-filled camp located in Wayland, MA, provides a host of activities for boys and girls ages 6 to 14 years old.

Camp Pikati & Sports Camps is one of the newer camps located at the West Suburban YMCA. Boys and girls ages 6 to 14 years old have the opportunity to enroll in a specialty clinic of their choice while still participating in traditional camp activities.

Camp Polliwog, Polliwog Creative Arts Camp and Tiny Tadpoles provide a perfect introduction to camp for children who range in age from 2 to 6½ years old.

There will be plenty of giveaways and camp memorabilia. Camp registration begins Sunday, February 3 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Registration for Camp Frank A. Day is ongoing and online at www.campfrankaday.org.
