Step Up to Bat with West Suburban YMCA'S
New Baseball Skills Clinic
The West Suburban YMCA will host a baseball skills clinic on Saturday, March 16, 2008. Boys and girls, ages eight to 13 years old will have the opportunity to learn throwing, fielding, sliding, and batting techniques in a fun and supportive environment.
Held in two-hour sessions, this clinic will enable children to learn an extensive amount of baseball knowledge in a small and limited class of no more than twenty students. Taught by former Chicago Cubs Strength and Conditioning Coach Dan Mandell, students will also have access to the YMCA's new batting cages.
Two sessions will be offered from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Costs per session are $50 for YMCA Members and $75 for Non-Members.
