This fall, check out all new and exciting programs available at the West Suburban YMCA. The Fitness and Wellness and Sports departments have been busy planning new classes for kids and teens. Sign up for basketball, flag football, softball, swimming or any other favorite class offered and add “Strength and Conditioning for Your Favorite Sport”. This is a great way to not only increase skills and technique, but also strength and endurance.

The Childcare department has also put together a new program; “Terrific Twos” This program is designed for two year old toddlers who will participate in activities such as music, dance, cooking and story time! Parents are encouraged to stay and join in the fun.

Other programs for children and teens include Kids Night Out, Vacation Week programs and camps, Tumbling Tots, Y-Fit for Kids, Hip-Hop, Lacrosse and Field Hockey.

For adults, the Sports department has put together an array of fun and competitive leagues. Check out the new Co-Rec Kickball league as well as Men’s and Women’s Basketball leagues. Seniors can enjoy Y-Fit Strength classes and the new program, Meet and Compete.

All of the new programs and class descriptions can be viewed online at www.ymcainnewton.org.  For more information or to register for fall programs, contact the Y at 617-244-6050 or stop by for a copy of the Fall Program Guide.
