NEWTON, MA – The West Suburban YMCA is set to kick-off its second session of fall programming on Monday, October 30. Individuals may register for these programs and classes in person at the West Suburban YMCA, 276 Church Street, Newton Corner or by calling 617-244-6050.

Session II of the West Suburban YMCA includes many new and exciting opportunities for children, teens and adults. Kids ages 6 to 17-years old can look forward to the fun and competitive Blue Waves swim team. Swimmers must attend practice at least two nights a week and will compete against local YMCA’s on Saturday mornings. Adults are welcome to join the exciting program of Co-ed Water Polo. Coached by a former Division I player, the Water Polo program is for those looking for something new or water polo alumni that are looking to continue playing.

Two Vacation Week programs are planned for children in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The December Vacation Week Program is designed for school-age children who are looking for a diverse schedule of programs and activities including swimming, gym time, arts and crafts and special events. Participants of the December School Vacation Week Super Sports Program will play a new sport each day – including daily swimming. Also, check out other weekly programs for youth and teens including Softball Skills clinics, Indoor Track, Floor Hockey, Teen Basketball and Yoga.

Adults will enjoy the many programs offered in the Sports and Fitness and Wellness Departments including competitive Basketball Leagues for men and women, Personal Training, use of the Golf Simulator and Belly Dancing.
