Fastpitch Softball Pitching Clinic
NEWTON, MA – The West Suburban YMCA is currently accepting registration for its fastpitch softball pitching clinics. All clinics will be held at the Y’s 10,000 foot gymnasium located at 276 Church Street, Newton Corner. These clinics are open to all girls in grades two through twelve.
This pitching clinic is a six week long program designed to establish and build on individual pitching skills. Proper technique and form will be emphasized. Pitching clinics will be held on Sunday afternoons and will be divided into four groups: Beginners (grades 2-5); Second Year Pitchers (grades 3-6); Experienced Pitchers (grades 5-8); High School Experienced Pitchers (grades 9-12).
All pitchers must bring their own glove and a catcher. Beginner and second year pitchers are encouraged to bring a parent as a catcher. Clinics will begin on Sunday, November12. Cost is $85 for members and $110 for non-members.
