New Knitting Programs Offered at the Y
Join the West Suburban YMCA for Introduction to Knitting and Knitting Group, two new programs offered on Tuesday mornings.
Introduction to Knitting is a seven week course intended for beginning knitters to gain basic skills and begin working on a project of their choice. Experienced knitter and instructor Lisa Piel will provide materials for the first class and individualized lists of what yarns and needles to buy will be created based on your personal interests. Knitting Group is a time for knitters of all levels to gather and spend time knitting together. Instructor Lisa Piel will meet with the group on Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
